New EPL Season

Sunday, August 15, 2010 Posted by dueng 1 comments
I will not talk about Ramadhan since everyone in here talking about it anyway. It's a different Ramadhan though having go thru it with my wife. He he.

What attractive to me this month is the new EPL season. As usual, we have 3 new clubs from Championship promoted to EPL. It was a pleasant surprise yesterday when Blackpool (one of the newly promoted club to EPL) crushing Wigan Athletic with score of 4 to nil. Bravo to the Tangerine for powerful display and it's definitely an interesting month to say the least when they will be in Emirates Stadium meeting with Arsenal.

Will there be another upset by The Tangerine? I would love to see one but a club with caliber of Arsenal will teach some lesson to newly promoted Blackpool on standard in EPL. However, it never hurt to pray for some upset. I would love to see Arsenal get their ass kick by Blackpool but before that, I want to see them crushed by Liverpool tonight.

Talking about Liverpool, it's good to see some new players making way in Liverpool squad. I would love to see how Joe Cole could do his magic while he's with Chelsea. He's a good player though a tad bit old for his role but like Danny Murphy, he still fit to play for Fulham and a highly regarded player that could change the game when needed the most.

Glad to see Torres stays at Liverpool. As usual every season, I hope Liverpool would win something just to end Liverpool title drought. I'm not so optimist to say that Liverpool will be title contender but only hope to secure UCL berth again.

World Cup 2010: Wrap Up

Monday, July 12, 2010 Posted by Anonymous 3 comments
I wish I can type this in my own blog but my hosting keep going down. Schmuck!! (Mental note: Need to change hosting next month. This month pokai already)

So, the World Cup has officially ended with Spain emerged as the winner even though the final match was a bit blergh. Seriously, I was begging for the game to end without caring who win when it was additional extra time. C'mon, a football game without any goal is so BORINGG!

For this post, I am just gonna put some interesting facts (from my personal p.o.v) and pictures about what happened for this World Cup. After all, this is a wrap-up post, aight?

a) The Result:
  1. Spain
  2. Netherlands
  3. Germany
  4. Uruguay
b) The Team with Most Goal Scored in One Match:

Portugal: 7 goals scored against Korea DPR.

(Nice goal! Here's some nipple press for you!)

c) The Most Play-Safe-Its-So-Boring Game When It Could've Been Entertaining:

Portugal versus Brazil: 0 - 0. Just because both team has already qualified, they didn't produced any goals? *sigh*

(Arghhh!! Don't spread your legs! DO NOT WANTT!! - Simao)

d) The Most Cards Given Out in a Game:

Final Match: Spain versus Netherlands. 11 yellow cards - 6 for Netherlands and 5 for Spain; 1 red cards for Netherlands.

(Bronckhorst: I didn't touch his ass!)

e) Legendary Holocaust (and The Most Interesting Game):

Germany versus Argentina: Germany won 4 - 0.

(Thiss... iss... Germannn!!!)

f) The Most Intense Fights Game:

Germany versus Uruguay. Germany won 3 - 2; but praises should be given to those Uruguay for their best games. They fight until the ends. No regrets.

This also means that I approve Uruguay as the best underdog team. Coolness! :D

(Thumbs up, Uruguay)

g) The Hands of God:

It's no longer Maradona. It's Paul the Octopus. Okay, tentacle is a better word.

(The All-Seeing Hands Tentacles)

Paul has predicted the results for Germany's and the final matches - and all his predictions are 100% right for this World Cup. FFFFFF!!!

h) The Most Gayish Celebration (even though he deserves it):

Andres Iniesta after scoring for Spain in the final. See those writing on his singlet? That's gay.

(I don't know what that writing means.. must be something gayish!)

And... last but not least...

i) Bend it Like Beckham Lampard.

 (No further explanation needed)

That's all folks! Let's wait for Brazil 2014!

Double Delights - Perihal Bola

World Cup 2010 is around the corner. Yes, I bet all the employer and wives in Malaysia having headache what will be coming next 5 weeks. I watched Nasi Lemak Kopi O at TV 9 this morning, the hosts discussing on World Cup 2010 effects on husband-wife relationship. As usual, the most coined argument is how wives need to deal with their husband obsession towards football for 5 weeks. The hosts went on and on discussing wives disturbed by this phenomenon.

Well, I couldn't agree how woman make World Cup such a big deal. It's like what the fuck.

If male could take it how "fast" female get dress, how "short" a window shopping could be every single day..can't female just gulp it down for 5 weeks every 4 years that male obsess with football? I know that not all men really have time to watch football and EPL when they get married or rather they just let it go hence I couldn't find the faulty in be less critical during next 5 weeks for men enjoying themselves with football.

I'm pretty pissed really when woman make it such a big issue of World Cup. Flame on! :D

Mighty Reds of Anfield

Friday, April 23, 2010 Posted by dueng 0 comments
There's a road named Anfield road in the town of Liverpool; European Capital of Culture. Liverpool most probably notable to people outside Britain for 2 obvious things; The Beatles and Liverpool FC.

As for the undisputed fame of The Beatles, Liverpool FC also having the same reputation all over the world. Known as the most successful club in English football [citation needed if you're other club fans], Liverpool FC also known as The Reds due to the colors of the football kit.

I love Liverpool FC. It's the second club that I support however it is the love affair that I never want to forget. People ask me, why do love Liverpool FC so much while you're not even from Liverpool?

Well, I love Liverpool FC for it's good display of gameplay which I found mesmerizing all this while. Most of my moments with Liverpool FC are beautiful, gut wrenching and heart stopping moments. Yeah, it could go from very low point to very high point in a blink and the euphoria is just unbearable to contain inside.

I admit that I used to weep while watching great game by The Reds, it's really full of emotion, roller coaster from start to end. What I love most other than good game is the official anthem [citation needed if you're other club fans] of Liverpool FC; You'll Never Walk Alone. It give me goosebumps every single time I heard the Anfield faithful singing it. Especially on European night.

My best moments with The Reds?

6 minutes from low point to high point. Euphoric? You betcha

The aftermath: The Miracle of Istanbul

The worst moments with The Reds?

......I try not to remember that.....
