Last week I was on holiday at Perlis, Langkawi and briefly Penang. Hence the absence.
While it would be nice to be writing it about it here, I chose not to, well not chose more like I don't have the time and I don't have the cable to my camera. Loads of valid excuses, nothing interesting. I will write it in my own blog when I got the time.
So I will write a snippet of conversation that I heard a while back while I was buying nasi lemak at a pasar malam.
There I was waiting for the makcik to bungkus and whatever all the lauk that we ordered I noticed 2 guys standing by my side.
Bro 1: Ko nak sekali ke aku orderkan?
Bro 2: Eh, takpe la. Aku tak makan ape-ape malam ni.
Bro 1 muka terkejut amat. Anggapanku Bro 2 kuat lantak punye sehingga decision untuk tidak makan adalah sesuatu yang luar biasa.
Bro 1: Eh, kenapa pulak? Makan la. Ko nak nasik lemak tak?
Bro 2: Takpe, takpe. Aku dah makan banyak dah tengahhari tadi.
Bro 2 said the above sambil menepuk-nepuk perut. Bro 1 pandang kejab kat Bro 2 and then eureka!
Bro 1: Ko tadek duit ye? Takpe. Aku belanja nasik lemak ni.
Bro 2 was clearly embarrassed.
Bro 2: Ahh, takpe la. Aku tak lapar pon. Ko order la.
Bro 1: Ko tak nak nasik lemak ke? *Bro 1 mengeluarkan sekeping wang kertas berwarna merah dari dompetnya* Nah. Amik la ni. Beli ape-ape yang ko nak.
Bro 2: Eh, takpe, takpe. Aku tak nak la pinjam duit ko.
Bro 1: Amik la duit ni. Beli la makanan. Nanti lapar pulak.
Which several moment passed while I watched Bro 1 sedaya upaya meletakkan duit tu di dalam tangan Bro 2 while Bro 2 menolak. Dan makcik nasik lemak tu pon akhirnya siap membungkus makanan aku. (Lama betul die bungkus. Aku rase aku beli 2 bungkus je. Tah-tah die pon menyibuk eavesdrop macam aku).
I walked away but not before I manage to glimpse that Bro 2 had decided to take the money and now look very very embarrassed because he had just realized I was watching the whole exchange... Ala Bro 2, no shame in being broke and hungry for dinner.
Tetapi... the whole exchange buat aku rase sungguh terharu. Clearly this is bromance at its best in a glimpse. Bro 2 is simply lucky to have Bro 1 as his BFF. Heh.

Yeah, walaupun agak sedih terhadap bro 2 but he is lucky to have a bff like bro 1 :)

Kan... and the great thing about it was that Bro 2 doesn't even have to mention he is broke for his friend to know it and lend him money.

Itu memang betul. Susah nak jumpa membe yang got our back.
pergh...dah lama tak tengok situasi begini. kawan2 camni la susah nak carik.
but even there are friends that ain't this good, they're good people with good heart and capable of being good friends also. :D

Tapi mmg xbest rasanya kalau kenyang sorg2 pastu tengok membe sebelah kebulur.... xde nikmat berkat. aku rasa bro 1 sure rasa tenang lepas tu bila bro 2 dapat beli makanan sekali.... mmg xsanggup ar kenyang sorg2.. kalau nak buncit biar buncit sama2 haha.... baru feel..........

and yes, ada rase air mata sedikit bertakung kerana terharu (blame the hormones plis)
